SC Shelfcast Retail demand forecasting

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-05

Plain-English summary

  • You upload a sales-history CSV. We forecast it and let you download the result.
  • Your CSV is held on the server only long enough for you to download the forecast — at most one hour — then it is auto-deleted.
  • We do not require accounts and do not collect names or email addresses through the app.
  • We do not sell, share, or repurpose your uploaded CSV.
  • We use Google's gtag (Google Ads conversion tracking) for advertising measurement, which sets cookies and shares page-load and conversion events with Google.

What we collect

From your upload: the contents of the CSV you upload — typically dates, unit counts, prices, and product names. Shelfcast is intended for sales-history data; please do not upload personal data about identifiable individuals.

Server logs: standard request logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp), used for security and debugging.

Analytics & ads measurement: Google's gtag (Google Ads) records page loads and conversion events. See Google's Privacy Policy.

How long we keep it

Uploaded CSVs and generated forecasts are stored in temporary server storage and auto-deleted after one hour or on the next server restart, whichever comes first. We do not back them up.

Third parties

The site loads Google's gtag.js from googletagmanager.com. The contents of your uploaded CSV are not shared with Google or any other third party.

Your choices

You can block Google's gtag with a browser-level ad blocker or by enabling "Do Not Track" — the site still works without it. Because we do not maintain user accounts, there is generally nothing identifying tied to you on our side beyond the temporary upload, which auto-deletes within an hour.
